Welcome Ambassadors and Emissaries of NationStates! If you are interested in sharing relations with Fort Triumph, this would be the place to declare intent. Embassies are reserved for those who intend on having a close relationship with this region that goes beyond the general posting of regional happenings. It is expected that embassies exchanged here will also be exchanged on the NationStates website. Consulates are best for regions and groups that desire to have a more casual relationship with Fort Triumph. Embassies shall be given their own Sub-boards and Consulates will have their own thread within this board. Below is the application for both Embassies and Consulates:

Keep in mind that all Embassies will have to be approved by the Town Hall and that requires a period of time dedicated to debating and voting. Consulates can be open at the discretion of the Mayor. Please send your filled out application as a response to this thread.

We would like to work with Fort Triumph very closely, militarily, and we're also open to cultural cooperation as well. Reasons to start Relationship with Fort Triumph: I <3 Thomas.  More seriously, Fort Triumph is a new defender region, like we are, and you have probably the most active defender military at the moment and we would like to work with you. |

I'm having a spot of difficulty understanding the practicality of using this system. Could you possibly explain a bit more about how it works/would work?

Well warrender, I don't want to clog this thread too much but here is the basic gist.
Many different regions across NationStates share relations with each other. The most basic of relationships is sending regional updates to other regions that inform them of your activity over a given period of time (sometimes monthly. sometimes quarterly). This is represented by the consulate option.
Some regions get involved in tighter relationships, like what Cormac is proposing for Camelot and Fort Triumph. These are marked by embassies on NationStates that are a symbol of a special relationship and sometimes come with cultural, military and other types of cooperation.

We'll take this proposal under consideration, but as the OP states, embassy applications take longer to process so bear with us.

Reasons to start Relationship with Fort Triumph: We seek relations with all types of different regions throughout NationStates, but Fort Triumph shares a special connection with us because of our common defender ideology. Fort Triumph is also a very interesting region, especially considering its long history and interesting wild west theme. We thank you for your consideration and hope we can begin building relations.

Fort Triumph isn't defender anymore, we left that label in 2015. We're not focused around gameplay anymore, only regional events, minigames, and activities. Nonetheless, I appreciate your application and I'll poke BT so he can get to it soon.
