Howdy to all of my fellow Citizens!
As you can tell we are in the middle of an election, you can tell well then I'm glad I told ya. Now We did a process by which all citizen were automatically entered into the election and thus here I am. I did not ask to be entered in, but I do promise if elected I will do the duty most diligently. I have not been as active as I would like the last month due to real life obligations spread out amongst work and family, but I assure you am I am invested deeply in this region as I am one of the first new Citizens from this year to have joined. I am part of this second wind that carrying us as a region on to greater things. I have tried to help grow our lovely region in many ways including actively participating in this forum creating many threads and working with the EPC, as well as helping to recruit including investing not only time but also fiances in the use of telegrams. I think that a solely event focused region, one that is neutral like ours can help fulfill a niche in Nationstates. One that returns the focus of Fun to the game. One often lost in the ever increasing RP's involved in passing WA legislation, lost among the Defenders and Raiders in the SC and in the region and give us the citizens the ability to create a deep impact in the NS culture by focusing on this often neglected niche of saying it's ok to be less serious and little more Wild (West).
If elected the main focus for now will be on the continuation of EPC events, getting the word out of the events on NS to seek to increase participation, as well as growth of citizenry.
That being said in the interest of Full disclosure I am also a citizen of XKI in which I am a defender and of the Rejected Realms. If you have any questions please hold them until after you have voted for me.
Thank you!

Glad to see a campaign from you, you've been a treasure as a new member.
I also believe that growth of citizenry is important. We've had a lot of recruits thanks to stamps and manual TGs but that hasn't always yielded much participation. How would you use the position of Mayor to turn recruits to citizens to participants?
What are your ideas for getting the word out on our events?

I also believe that growth of citizenry is important. We've had a lot of recruits thanks to stamps and manual TGs but that hasn't always yielded much participation. How would you use the position of Mayor to turn recruits to citizens to participants? I would attempt several different styles of Welcome messages and examine the ability of each one to see if it help recruits become citizens become participants as well as be willing to reach out to people who are active on the RMB and may not be active here. Another would be to examine our WFE and see if there is anything we can do to make it more clear or helpful like posting the oft used and shared Dispatch "Noobs Guide to NS". What are your ideas for getting the word out on our events? I'm not above TG's but I think some of the routes we can take includes posting on the on site forum (although I personally don't use it very much), coordinating with other themed or unique regions like possibly The Sands Casino to have a cowboy themed game, or seeing if we can get something to the News Stands. Even co-coordinating with other regions. I know when TSP did their coordinated LOTR event it got a lot of people as citizen and non citizen to work with them and the other regions that participated in. It was after this event I become more active in other regions.

Which region were you a citizen of first, FT or TRR? TRR but not by much. I'm I'm not very active there as Zeta Forums doesn't get by my works fire wall and it's a little chaotic in their RMB. The only things I've done was vote for a treaty and vote during the last election when Cat resigned or any other time MM messaged me to vote.

About how long do you see yourself as being the Mayor? We currently have no mechanisms in place for transition to a future mayor although a challenge system was discussed so it's an interesting question.
