We should write an official Fort Triumph reintroduction post for Gameplay. Recruiting is harder than it used to be, so this is a good way to attract talent to our humble town. I'm going to share a general layout and we can all can just work on it together, in whatever order we wish.
Introduction Share the general premise of the region for those who don't know and explaining the changes to those that remember us from 4 years ago.
Gubment Explain how we're still in the process of forming our government and how we are looking for something uniquely simplistic. Maybe share the most recent draft.
Map/Economy Somehow explain the forum currency and how it ties into our map. Explain our businesses and how they will make profits. Share an image of our most recent map draft.
Casino Event Description of the event and the still operating casino.
Pets Describe the feature and event. Make sure to explain potential for future growth.
HIPSTERvision Definitely share the sweet event related banner. Explain the contest and show a list of participants and the songs they entered.
Sneak Preview of the Next Event Unveil that sweet, sweet banner and give a little information. A teaser, if you will.
Event Planning Committee Make everyone KNOW that they can JOIN the EPC and have a significant impact on how we operate.

IntroductionIs that Gramps from House II? You bet your sweet ass it is! "Howdy y'all! It is my extreme pleasure to share that Fort Triumph is back from the dead! It's been over three years since I've last felt the sunlight, but before I go and clean myself up, let me tell you a few things. Firstly, Fort Triumph is a small town that has formed around an abandoned military installation as part of the Western Destiny Railroad's expedition, chasing the setting sun. Back in 2014, Fort Triumph was known mostly for its Marshal Service. The Fort Triumph Marshal Service was a defender military that routinely brought the outlaws of NationStates to justice. Today, the Marshal Service has been re-purposed to town safety and administration. Rather than focusing outward, we will be working inward, striving to make Fort Triumph as glorious a town as we imagined it all those years ago. We had so many glorious ideas and Benevolent Thomas has developed a few more over the years. Do you like Westerns? Do you like spaghetti? Do you enjoy inexplicable shenanigans (not that restaurant with all the goofy shit on the walls and the mozzarella sticks) and a plethora of events? Fort Triumph just may be the town for you."

Casino Event I'm Going to Make My Own Region... with Blackjack and HookersMany of us have said that, but we actually went and did it. While casinos seem to have been all the rage in regional updates these days, I believe that as the likely only real life casino dealer and manager, I can say ours is the best. During our inaugural weekend, we opened the doors to our casino and removed all the limits. Those that stopped by got to play hands of blackjack, 5-card draw and bang their head against our merciless slot machines. Deadeye Jack and Sauron used this opportunity to incredibly deepen their pockets, others struggled and some lost everything. At the end of the weekend, the Casino returned to its limits and regular hours, but not before congratulating all of their faithful customers: {Casino Statement}We have reached the end of our first event! While regional membership topped out just below 30 at the end of our very first weekend, we had 17 different users log in and participate in our inaugural event. This is what everyone's wallet totals were at the end of the event:
Sauron - $12,967 Deadeye Jack - $4,327 Benevolent Thomas - $747 Manson - $121 Roavin - $100 Ater Nox - $40 Louisistan - $30 Neop - $25 Smithveringuard - $19 Darudere - $5 Relfa - $5 Dyr Nasad - $5 Thatcher Whitehall - $5 Grace - $0 Flemingisa - $0 Lenlyvit - $0 Skullyna - $0
As a special thanks for participating in our first ever event, the Fort Triumph Casino is giving everyone $100! Of course, this is just a thinly veiled attempt to get you to return and spend even more money.
We intend to create special badges/awards for being a part of the Casino event, so be on the lookout for those!
High Rollers sauron Deadeye Jack
Gamblers Benevolent Thomas manson roavin Ater Nox and the Sundance Kid Louisistan neop smithveringuard
Safe Bets darudere relfa Dyr Nasad thatcherwhitehall
I Lost The House! Grace flemingisa lenlyvit skullyna
Changes to the Casino It'd be such a shame to demolish such a beautiful casino, so it is here to stay! There will be some limitations, however. Members will only be able to play each casino game up to five times per calendar day. The limits on Blackjack and Poker will remain, however a few changes have been made to the slots. Each token will now cost $5 to use, but the prize money has also been increased! While things have slowed down at the casino since then, every night you can hear Jack and Sauron discussing this and that from the high rollers section as they drink complimentary booze. - Yeah -- (chuckles) -- I was in the right! - Yes, absolutely in the right! - I certainly was in the right! - Yeah, I was definitely in the right That geezer was cruising for a bruising! - Yeah! - Why does anyone do anything? - I don't know, I was really drunk at the time! - I was just telling him it was in, he could get it in Number Two. He was asking why it wasn't coming up on freight eleven. After, I was yelling and screaming and telling him why it wasn't coming up on freight eleven. It came to a heavy blow, which sorted the matter out

HIPSTERvision The hipsters have taken over the Fort Triumph music scene. The town's most in-tune individuals scavenged far and wide to bring relatively unknown music to light. In true competitive spirit, participants will vote to determine who came up with the greatest underground find. After the vote, the truest, most hip music aficionado will be crowned. Ironically, by then, they will have grown to hate the music they've promoted, as is tradition. In all, ten songs have been submitted for judgement: Shizensky: Days N Daze - Misanthropic Drunken Loner Roavin: Forgotten Tropics - Bound to Fall Grace: Soul Monsters - Erie Deadeye Jack: Superorganism - Night Time Benevolent Thomas: Fit For Rivals - Hit Me Sauron: The Homeless Gospel Choir - Normal Rom: Cold Kingdom - Let It Burn Skullyna: Zezaree - Monstruo TheDeadWest: Larkin Poe - Preachin' Blues Thechurchofsatan: Freezepop - Doppleganger I welcome you all to check these songs and artists out. While your vote in the matter it utterly meaningless, I invite you to share your thoughts on this contest on our regional message board or by telegramming [nation]Evil Lord Sauron[/nation]. He likes to think himself truly in tune with whats "now".

Next event sneak preview Graboids in the Ground -- Assblasters in the Sky"I have been called many things. "Doomsday prepper". "Gun enthusiast." "Monster hunter." I reject all these labels. What I am, is a survivalist."—Burt Gummer Peculiar seismic activity is plaguing the areas surrounding Fort Triumph. The town of Perfection has sent us an envoy who claims that the trouble has yet to begin. Mr. Gummer claims that we need all able bodied men, woman and children to arm themselves and prepare for a Graboid invasion. Join Fort Triumph as we take on Graboids, Shriekers, Ass Blasters and whatever else comes our way! Interested? oh I know you are! How does one kill one of these beasts? By posting, of course! Monsters will be set to emerge randomly in select threads on our forum. Each time you post, you are given an option to attack or retreat. If your attack is successful, the monster will lose Hit Points. If the monster successfully attacks you, you will also lose HP. If you manage to successfully avoid attack, a percentage of your health with return. Those that prove adept at killing these monsters, will find their level increased and will, in turn, receive a stronger attack and higher overall health. That's right, folks. We may have come across the greatest spam game imaginable.

Seek Your Fortune
As the community develops its infrastructure, two things in the works, which will be closely intertwined are the Fort Triumph economy and the town map. Members of Fort Triumph earn forum currency based off of their participation in the community and its events. This money can be used as part of other events such as gambling or buying pets, as well as used to buy spots on the map to start businesses.
The map of the town is currently under construction and how the businesses will work are being discussed. The types of businesses being imagined would be some of your typical shops in an old west town (saloons, general stores, etc), as well as farms and mining operations. These businesses would earn a periodic income that could be affected by a number of factors like growth of Fort Triumph and special events.
Once the details are finalized, Fort Triumph’s economy will be a unique experience.

Town Gathers to Talk Governance
Fort Triumph’s citizens are in the midst of talks to create a government. Several ideas have been discussed (including government sponsored corruption) with most everyone involved in the meeting agreeing that less is more. The idea is that a simpler enshrined form of governance will better allow players new and old in the region to have a say in how things are run while also allowing Fort Triumph to embrace some of its creative, emergent ideas for activity more easily. Currently citizens are deciding how voting would work for a proposal and a vote is expected to occur in the near future. {Rules and Orders-Current Draft}

When Pigs Fly!Take a look at Sauron's Farm, everybody. Just take a second to admire those floating cats and pigs. Now take a gander at the rock the size of a cow... or is that a boulder? That's right, y'all, Fort Triumph has hopped on the Farmville bandwagon and will try to ride this fresh wave of innovative excitement into the sunset. While we do not have any plants, yet, you can purchase some pets and farm animals and place them in your field. You also get to care for your pets and clean up after them! the excitement is almost too much. As time goes on, however, we will be adding a plethora of new items to this game based off our own preferences and what events grace our region. Exclusive pets and items will also be given out as event rewards, so think of this as an ultimate collectors prestigious trophy case. Surprisingly enough, Sauron has kept his farm rather tidy, so unfortunately there aren't any floating piles of poop.

Join the Event Planning Committee! The Event Planning Committee (EPC) is the cultural cornerstone of Fort Triumph. Its members are responsible for the planning and execution of the region's many special events. It consists of writers, coders, artists and generally creative people. Once an idea has been proposed, the committee considers the technical possibilities of the event before suggesting possible improvements to the original concept. We then come up with a more developed story-arch for the event and create any necessary related images. The EPC also tasks themselves with creating awards and mementos in relation to each event (I've actually fallen behind in this department, but we can easily rectify that). Anyways... join my squad! Current Members Are: Benevolent Thomas (Twice Retired and Two-Time Nearly Commended Asshat) Manson (The Beautiful People that has too many children running rampant) Deadeye Jack (Everyone's Favorite Multi) Shizensky (I'M SO SORRY! I'M A SCUMBAG FOR DRAWING YOU BACK IN!!!) Roavin (I prefer his userite side) TheDeadWest (The Future)
