Sounds good, gives me chance to fluff out the info a little. I can possible get a few trusted friends to join the forum from Darkstorm, but they may or may not become members of Nations State. Let me know if this is an issue as I won't invite them if you want NS only Still need to find a picture of the ship you want, I can post a few for consideration, if you guys do the same we can pick the best one. I'll happily design a layout for it as well just for the sake of it as might help with some parts of the story.

Well if we end up hurting for people you can ask them, but I think we should give a chance to the people in the region first

Once we're about set to get this thing moving, we can make another thread dedicated solely to this RP and we can move all the relevant information there.

We've found it's good to have 2 threads per RP, one for the actual game where all posts are in character(IC) and another for players to chat about the game, ask questions and plan out moves out of character(OOC) This saves the game getting bogged down in conversation even if it's on-topic conversation.
If you don't want a second thread for OOC we could always keep using this thread as it's already open.

Yeah that sounds like a good setup. If/when you want us to split out any of your posts here into another thread let us know

I'd be fine with the set up that warrender suggested, it looks to be quite amazing.

So just to keep track of who is interested:
GM: Warrender
Players: Benevolent Thomas, Deadeye Jack, and Bolttz {I'm assuming your above post is confirmation of your interest in participating)
We'll keep trying to pull some more people in and then see where we're at, at the end of the week

ok peeps, as promised here are a few sample ships you might like. Obviously I've got my own fave from this list, but this will be YOUR ship, so it's better for you peeps to pick it If you find any yourselves, post em up to add to the list. 1. 2. 3. 4. ( same ship as 3, just a better angle) 5. 6. 7. 8.

The last one kinda looks like a train but it looks too big for our ragtag group. Or at least that's what I'm imagining. I guess I kinda like 2, 3/4 and 5

Ships 2 or 5 for me. Like any good nerd I have a boner for the Firefly model, but we're telling our own story here.

The firefly would definitely fit the bill, but yes, it would be a bit of a cop out to follow firefly in all aspects, so perhaps keep it as a reserve option if all else fails.
Yeah, I see what you mean about the train look, I did picture it as being really spacious throughout, so large bridge, large cargo holds, large quarters etc. Though if following the western theme you wouldn't really have such a beast.
So maybe think of it as all the rooms required being at the front, engine room at the rear and maybe along a bit of the top deck, then the rest of the belly is one huge cargo hold, capable of carrying machinery and such as needed.
I'm a fan of 5 as well, it's got the firefly feel without the "hey, hey, look at us, we're copying firefly!" But I also like 7 as well. Would look much better if I could dirty it up a bit and make it less star treky. Number 1 I'll keep for a future RP perhaps.

I can roll with #5. Seems like one we all agree that we like. How are you doing with this right now Warrender?

Hmmm. Maybe contact your friends and see if they want to be in on this RP, Warrender. We've advertized this to the region and there hasn't been the return we were hoping for
