"Well, no clue really. I told everyone you went ahead and then I followed. There is a tracker in my necklace, so they should be able to find us or tell us if we need to fall back. But truth be told, when I left they were still squabbling over what to do. Truth be told, we could probably find the missing sheriffs before they reach a decision." *smiles jauntilly at Aiden* "So, what do you say, huh? Aiden and Zach against the world!" "It's probably a horrible idea, but with my brains and wonderful strategies, you tactics and battlefield capabilities we could do anything! Well, not anything. Just most things. And we would still need the crew for the majority of it. But, for some missions, we could totally take it. Like this one. Probably. Hopefully. Either way, it will be fun."

"Alright. Let's go ask around, and see if anyone is willing to tell us anything." Aiden turns around and looks at the town.

Aiden begins to walk through the town, zack in tow. He sees a building with a sign that reads "sheriff's office" over the door, and points to it. "Do you want to go in there first?"

Captain Moresby stood. "Suit yourself, Thomas. Doctor, Anderson, let's mosey on down to the Sheriff's office, shall we? Perhaps we'll be able to catch up to Zack and Aiden." He walked out the hatchway and towards the surface.
Anderson followed him as he pulled out his short-range communicator. "Zack: the captain, the doctor, and I are on our way to the sheriffs' office. You might want to wait for us there."

*recieves Anderson's message* "Well Den, they seem to have made up their mind and are coming to the sheriff's office. So I think we should just go in and check out the layout for them."

"Might as well." Aiden walks up and pushes the door open.

Captain Anderson's radio emits
"Don't be afraid to radio in for rescue if you find yourselves in over your heads"
Thomas then chuckles to himself before returning to his siesta.

Group Event : Aidan, Zack, Iggy, Moresby and Anderson
The five men had strode purposefully from the ships ramp towards the collection of wooden and metal buildings that made up the town, Zack struggled with juggling his items in a haste, trying to find a pocket or clip to attach them all too so they'd be ready for action at a moments notice. A single long dirt track street with buildings either side and ending adruptly at either end, in the far distance beyond the town the various houses could be seen in a patterened arrangement where the workers lived and slept when not working in the factories. The town itself offered very little, just the bare essentials to survive.
They soon noticed the Sheriffs office halfway down the street, a two storey building with offices above and main entrance and jails on the ground floor. Iggy stepped forward, giving the door a firm push to open it, allowing the trio to enter. At a desk sat a young man, his face haggard from lack of sleep and stubble spreading from side to side from not shaving for several days. "Hey, strangers, what can I do for you?" He inquired, putting down his pen from the document he was writing.
Aidan pointed to a collection of posters that were ready to be posted up around town that showed the missing Sheriff and other men. "We're here to inquire about your missing Sheriff" Iggy chimed in, to save the hassle of a game of charades. Aidan nodded to confirm the question. "We're here to help. I'm Captain Morseby and these are my associates, Dr Paxton, My engineer Zack, Security officer Aidan and Anderson" Captain Morseby added, his hand motioning to each person as he introduced them.
A genuine sigh of relief spread across his face "Oh thanks heavens, With the Sheriff and officers all missing I've been running the town for over a week on my own, I'm completely at my last tether and can't go look for him myself. You're the first to offer to help" He said, looking them up and down and quickly realising they didn't look like your standard mercenary group. It didn't matter though, he was simply grateful someone was going to go look for them.
"I'm not sure what I can offer you as payment, normally the Sheriff would sort all that stuff out. So ... erm ... there's a junk pile at the edge of town, there's tons of stuff both working and not working and simple building parts. I'll have a word with Bradders, erm .. I mean Bradley. If you get the Sheriff back safe and sound then you can have everything you want from the pile. I'll deal with the Sheriff if he's unhappy, but its been so long I know he's in trouble and if so he won't mind if it means getting him back safe"
The five men shook hands with the would be Sheriff who pointed them in the right direction of the sister town and even let them borrow a hover truck to cover the distance. In 30minutes they arrived at the ridge of a dune that overlooked the town, opting to go the rest of the way by foot in case the noise of the engine attracted undue attention.
The scene below them was a stark contrast to the main town. Machines and shanty huts littered the large open space, a mass of steel girder roofs, barrels and other signs that this town was purely for the extraction of metals. Huge crane like monsters still rumbled with life, their huge pistons grinding up and down and moving other seemingly moving conveyers and suspended buckets across distances.
From the side of a nearby building they could hear muffled laughter. Two men were standing beside a man on his knees, arms bound behind his back. They were saying something to the bound man but they were too far away to hear. Without warning, one of the two pressed his pistol harshly against the mans temple and pulled the trigger, dropping the man to the floor and then casually walking away, laughing.
A further survey of the land revealed more armed men, at least 10, maybe 15. The group had the element of surprise and plenty of buildings and structures to take cover behind.
(Mission specifics : Any wounds sustained will be very minor and treatable on the battlefield / Bandits will be appearing from doorways randomly and will have equal cover / The party has the skill to take down all bandits in single prolonged gun battle, hand to hand can be won provided characters are covered with suppressive fire)

*looking over the mining equipment* "Well I can see why the sheriff was interested in this place. There are at least a dozen safety violations just from a cursory inspection. See that crane over there? You can see is rust borrowing through the beam. And the slag conveyor belt is too low. Someone could fall into it." *barely repressed anger slipping into his words* "Just imagine all the workers here slaving day and night just to get by and then they get crushed by a rusty girder, but know one says a thing." *starts walking away from the group* "don't mind me, I'm just going to commender one of those cranes"

"Wait!," Iggy yelled in hush tones at Zack as he made to commandeer a crane, "don't you think we should come up with some sort of plan first before we spring into action?"
"I'm too old to go charging into battle and I don't know about you but I'd prefer not to be shot if it can be helped."

Anderson grabbed Zack's shoulder. "Hold up. Rushing in gets people killed."

"ugg, fine then. but when we go in, i call the big crane over there. i may not be a good shot with a gun, but i can drop a box into any crate you want. plus, i always win those weird claw games at arcades" he says rather wistfully

AAiden goes prone and points his rifle down at the town. Looking through the scope, he can tell they're outnumbered. He looks at the captain, lifting up his hand and holding it with his thumb pointed to the side.

Anderson dropped low and crawled up next to Aiden. He pulled out his binoculars and scanned that town. "No sentries posted that I can see. A lot of their weapons look improperly cared for. I don't think they're very good with them. Maybe ten. Maybe fifteen. Somewhere in there. If the captain'll get close in cover and start spooking them while Zach does his crane thing on the opposite side, Aiden and I can use our rifles to pick them off. Doctor, do you have a firearm?"

Aiden points down at the nearest house. In the window are two men. Aiden lines up his sights, steadies his breathing, and fits of two rounds.
